Be concise and skip the BS.
Well, as a disclaimer, I don't own a large number of watches. However, I believe my collection is more extensive than that of most men. I must also mention that I'm not an expert in luxury wristwatches. That being said, for my inaugural content, I've chosen to discuss some watches since I know it's a topic that resonates with affluent men who enjoy flaunting their possessions or engaging in conversations during gatherings.
Numerous videos already exist that discuss the more well-known luxury watch brands. Since I happen to have a few Grand Seiko watches at hand, I thought it would be interesting to focus on a more niche topic and share it with my viewers. It took me several days to research this Japanese watchmaker and uncover some unique aspects to highlight in my first video. Additionally, during the filming sessions, I studied other successful practices and made additional investments to enhance the quality of my studio equipment for better visual content.
MR EARL’s LESSON LEARNED: One important lesson I learned was to skip the unnecessary details (a.k.a. BS) in the introduction. Not many viewers have the patience to delve into the reasons behind a purchase or the brand's history (although can touch on these briefly in the future). According to the analytics, the drop-off rate in the first 30 seconds was as high as 40%. Therefore, it's crucial to capture the viewer's interest and get straight to the point within the first few lines.
